1. Does this ice maker also act as a freezer to keep the ice frozen?
No, it doesn't, the produced ice will melt slowly, and the water will recycle back into the ice again for maximum water efficiency.
2. What kind of water do I need to fill when using this machine?
We highly recommend filling the water tank with purified, distilled, and tap water. Please do not fill it with milk, coffee, juice, or anything like that. If you would like to make ice with milk or juice, you can check our silicone ice cube tray set.
3. How often do I need to clean this machine?
To keep your nugget ice looking good and tasting fresh and to remove the scale build-up, it is recommended to run the self-cleaning function once a month. If you live in an area with hard water, twice a month or more.
4. Any tips for installation?
Install it upright on a flat, level surface, and ensure a minimum of six inches (6'') clearance around the side and back walls of the appliance for proper air circulation. Do not place it near heat sources or bright light sources.
5. What does it mean when both the Ice Full and Add Water light up?
It means the machine enters auto-stop protection to prevent the motor system from getting stuck in the ice. You can start the self-cleaning process twice, or turn off the machine for at least 6 hours. Feel free to contact us if you need help.
